Thanks to the Women’s Peace Camp, which played a crucial role in the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the Common is now a large open country park and nature reserve.
The first in a series of four images, the artwork blends blues, golden yellows and fresh greens to make a vibrant, welcoming scene.
My style is simple and joyful, aiming to celebrate the peace that the Common now evokes.
