Thanks to the Women’s Peace Camp, which played a crucial role in the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the Common is now a large open country park and nature reserve.
The second in a series of four images, this artwork blends soft greys, gentle blues. subtle greens and neutral hues to reflect the prevailing tranquillity.
My style is simple, aiming to celebrate the peace that the Common now evokes.
