One of the most picturesque waterways in the UK along it’s route there are bustling towns, picturesque villages and historic monuments.
Passing through some really spectacular landscapes, it is also home to a wide variety of wildlife such as barn owls, ducks swans and coots to badgers butterflies and many more.
The beautiful waterway is a favourite family weekend escape for locals. Many narrowboat dwellers live on the river full time whilst others just holiday on it during the summer months. Each year the waterway has thousands of visitors.
